Finance Department Warns Officials Over Non-Compliance of Transfer Orders
Srinagar, October 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has issued a stern circular directing officers and officials who have failed to join their new places of posting after recent transfers to comply immediately, warning that disciplinary action will follow for continued defiance.
According to order, It has been brought to the notice of the Department that certain officers/officials transferred in the recent past have not joined their new places of postings and are continuing at their previous places of postings without any authorization. The mater has been viewed seriously.
It is enjoined upon the officers/officials concerned who have been transferred under different Government Orders/Office Orders in the recent past but have not joined their new places of postings, to do so without any further delay by or before 27.10.2025, failing which action, as warranted under rules shall follow.
