Weather Outlook for Jammu and Kashmir: October 21–31, 2025
Srinagar, Oct 21: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a ten-day forecast indicating mostly dry and partly cloudy weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir, with only brief spells of rain or snow expected over isolated higher reaches on a few days.
According to the latest update, today (October 21) will see partly to generally cloudy skies with a chance of very light rain or snow at higher altitudes. The weather is likely to remain partly to generally cloudy but dry on October 22 and 23.
On October 24, clouds are expected to build up again by late afternoon or evening, possibly bringing a short spell of very light snowfall over isolated high-altitude areas. From October 25 to 27, the region will experience mostly dry weather under partly to generally cloudy conditions.
A weak western disturbance may affect parts of the region on October 28 and 29, leading to light rain at a few places and light snow over isolated higher reaches. The weather is expected to turn partly cloudy and dry again on October 30 and 31.
Advisory for Farmers:
The MET Centre has advised farmers to continue with their regular agricultural activities, as no significant weather-related disruptions are expected during this period.
