Weather Update: J&K to Witness Dry Spell Till Early November
Srinagar, Oct 29: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast mostly dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till the first week of November, bringing a brief respite for farmers and travelers.
According to the MET Centre, from October 29 to November 3, the region will experience generally dry conditions. However, on November 4 and 5, a brief spell of light rain or light snowfall is expected at isolated higher reaches of the Kashmir division. The weather is likely to turn dry again from November 6 to 10.
In its advisory, the department has urged farmers to continue all farm activities as weather conditions remain largely favorable.
The clear skies and mild conditions are expected to persist across most plains, while temperatures may dip slightly during morning and evening hours.
