Weather Update: Jammu & Kashmir, October 24, 2025
Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued the latest weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, indicating largely stable conditions across the Union Territory over the coming days, with only brief spells of light precipitation expected in higher reaches.
According to the MeT office, today, October 24, the weather will remain partly cloudy towards late afternoon and evening, with a possibility of very light snowfall over isolated higher reaches.
From October 25 to 27, the region is likely to witness partly cloudy skies with dry weather prevailing in most areas. On October 28, skies are expected to turn partly to generally cloudy, accompanied by a brief spell of light rain at a few places and light snowfall over isolated higher reaches.
The forecast from October 29 to 31 suggests continued partly cloudy and dry conditions, while dry weather is also expected to persist from November 1 to 3, with intermittent cloud cover.

The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue all agricultural activities as no significant weather disturbance is expected in the coming week.
